We are honored to win four awards in the 2014 International Best in Biz Awards, including the Silver Award for PR Agency of the Year. Winners in the global competition are determined by industry analysts and members of the news media from more than 18 countries.
In addition to PR Agency of the Year honors, Idea Grove also received awards in the following categories:
Website of the Year – Today’s Wireless World (Silver). For BearCom, Idea Grove redesigned, relaunched, and serves as managing editor of TodaysWirelessWorld.com, the online version of the company's magazine on wireless technology trends. Within six months of the relaunch, traffic to the site was up 2,500 percent and it was sending BearCom hundreds of prospective buyers. The site also has attracted sponsors such as Motorola Solutions, Vertex Standard and Icom America.
PR Campaign of the Year – RiseSmart Super Bowl Campaign (Silver). RiseSmart has become known for its Super Bowl prediction, which guesses the Super Bowl winner based on unemployment rates. In 2014, news coverage of the forecast included reports from The Boston Globe, MSN, CNBC and multiple Fox and CBS affiliates. ESPN ran a segment discussing the prediction, Fox Business Network ran a 34-second report and a Wall Street Journal reporter discussed the prediction on a popular radio program.
Blog of the Year – ServiceVirtualization.com (Bronze). For CA Technologies, our mission is to encourage conversation and build community around an approach to software development and testing called "service virtualization." By developing a regimen of quality, product-agnostic content, Idea Grove has built ServiceVirtualization.com into one of the top online resources on the subject. Today, the site has thousands of registered members and hundreds of posts from more than a dozen contributors. It ranks No. 2 in native search for "service virtualization" behind the Wikipedia definition.
