The Public Relations Society of America’s Dallas chapter has named Idea Grove a finalist for two Pegasus Awards in recognition of PR and marketing efforts in 2014.
The honored entries include:
Marketing Effectiveness (B2B) – RiseSmart Super Bowl Campaign. RiseSmart has become known for its Super Bowl prediction, which guesses the Super Bowl winner based on unemployment rates. In 2014, news coverage of the forecast included reports from The Boston Globe, MSN, CNBC and multiple Fox and CBS affiliates. ESPN ran a segment discussing the prediction, Fox Business Network ran a 34-second report and a Wall Street Journal reporter discussed the prediction on a popular radio program.
Reputation/Brand Management – Apptricity Settlement Coverage. For Apptricity, Idea Grove managed communications around a legal case that resulted in a $50 million settlement paid by the U.S. Department of Defense. The story was featured in more than 200 media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Dallas Morning News, Bloomberg, TIME, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, Gizmodo, FOX News, CBS Washington, ZDNet, Computerworld and Digital Trends.
The Pegasus Awards recognize outstanding public relations and strategic communications efforts in the Dallas area. Winners will be announced Nov. 7.
