Just a few months after winning the American Marketing Association’s Marketer of the Year award, Idea Grove is a finalist in two categories at the 2013 Golden Bridge Awards: PR Professional of the Year and Media Relations Team of the Year.
Idea Grove President Scott Baradell is a finalist in the PR Professional of the Year category for the company’s impressive growth in 2012. The Media Relations Team nomination is for our work on behalf of client ShopSavvy.
In early 2012, Idea Grove committed to create for ShopSavvy a public relations program leveraging news releases, media pitches, video and an online forum. All were designed to raise awareness of the company’s mobile shopping application and drive downloads before and during retailing’s most-visible period: the kickoff of the holiday shopping season well known as Black Friday.
Our public relations activities earned ShopSavvy extensive media coverage, as it was featured in dozens of reports on television, radio and online outlets, including Shopper Marketing Good Housekeeping, Mashable, VentureBeat and dozens of TV newscasts nationwide.
Idea Grove clients Fonality and RiseSmart are also Golden Bridge finalists. Fonality is a finalist in two categories, Voice and VoIP Innovations and Unified Communications Software Innovations for its Heads Up Display (HUD). RiseSmart has twice been named the Innovative Company of the Year for its next-generation outplacement solutions.
The Golden Bridge Awards is a national business awards competition that attracts hundreds of entries each year from international and Fortune 500 companies, including Apple and Cisco.
